Barbour International produces a myriad of jackets for many different uses, one of those being shooting. Retired footballer Zinedine Zidane is the star of the Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign for Yohji Yamamoto’s Y3 line for Adidas. Not surprising, considering the designer’s inspiration for the collection is said to have been the way the net moves after a goal is scored. As with most runway-to-reality situations many of the looks that were sent down the catwalk were interesting and conceptual, but not altogether in line with the Y-3 sportswear items that fly off the shelves. The Federal Trade Commission said Thursday the settlement bars Twitter from misleading consumers about its security and privacy practices and requires the start-up to establish a comprehensive information security program.

According to the FTC, hackers were able to view email addresses and other private user information, gain access to user messages, reset user passwords and send phony tweets from user accounts.

At least one phony tweet was sent from the account of Fox News and another phony tweet was sent from the account of then-President-elect Barack Obama offering more than 150,000 followers a chance to win $500 in free gasoline, the FTC said.

“At the time of the incidents, we were … in the midst of perhaps unprecedented user growth for an Internet company; and, didn’t employ the security methods that we use today,” the company said on Thursday.

Twitter said 45 accounts were accessed in the first incident and 10 accounts in the second incident.

In a post on PayPal’s blog, spokesman Anuj Nayar wrote that the company will keep blocking personal payments to and from India as it works out questions that Indian regulators have posed.

The payments were initially suspended Jan. 28, after regulators questioned whether PayPal payments should be regulated like wire transfers of cash.

However, local bank withdrawals, which had also been suspended, should be available within a few days, Nayar said

The companies announced the agreement in July, in which Microsoft’s Bing search engine would power Yahoo’s search results, and Yahoo would provide premium search-advertising services for both companies.

They had hoped to finalize the deal in late October but needed more time to work out the details.

“Microsoft and Yahoo believe that this deal will create a sustainable and more compelling alternative in search that can provide consumers, advertisers and publishers real choice, better value, and more innovation,” they said in a statement Friday.
